Positive points:
1. The pricing is very low when compared to other projectors in its class. The picture quality is surprisingly good almost as good as expensive HD projectors.
2. Projection is extremly bright, which, makes the picture viewable even in a bright room. The picture is much clearer even when the bulb setting is kept low.
3. High contrast and sharpness features makes viewing more pleasurable.
4. Small in size the projector can be easily moved to different locations. It is also very simple to operate as it can be plugged anywhere and all you have to do is point it at a wall.
5. You can maximize the screen size while watching a movie.
6. Great value for the money
A couple of negatives:
1. The bulb life is moderate.
2. The lamp mode might be a bit noisy for some; it was not a problem for me though.
The Mitsubishi HC1500 720p DLP Home Theatre Projectors have lots of features and is an excellent buy. This projector is specially made for the home and small business market and is ideally suited for meetings and conferences. The Optoma HD 65 DLP Projector is a very small projector at 18cm by 25cm and weighs only 4lbs. For such a small size projector it is a power house when it comes to image output, brightness and features. Coupled with Optoma’s history of producing very affordable home theater projectors and we think that we are onto a winner with this one.

The Optoma HD65 has a new DLP chipset that produces 1280 x 720 High Definition resolution and a contrast ratio of 4000:1. While we are used to the 4 segment colour wheel of most projectors this is one of the first ones to offer 6 segment colour wheel which runs at 4 times speed. The result is the reproduction of fantastic out of the box colour. You get a very rich, crisp and well saturated image with almost no colour gradient deficiencies in solid and flesh tone colours.
HD, Blue Ray movies and PS3, Xbox 360 gaming is truly a pleasure with the Optoma HD65 DLP. It has a very bright lamp that can pump out up to 1600 lumen. The estimated lamp life is between 2000 – 3000 hours. Unless you are in a very bright room you will find the colour and brightness too much and searing and you will need to turn down the lumen output. You can do this by switching image modes or turning the Brilliant Colour setting down. You will find plenty of settings available to get to your desired colour and brightness output. The minimum lumen setting that can be achieved is just over 400 lumen which is still pretty impressive. When compared to the slightly older HD 70 the HD 65 is a significant setup for just about $100 more on the price.
If you look at the back of the projector it comes with a whole host of inputs such as S-Video, composite RCA, version 1.3 HDMI, 15 in D-Sub, VGA, USB, component and 12V Trigger. So it is very easy to connect optoma hd 65 to a host of home entertainment devices.

The InFocus Work Big IN2102EP Projector uses the new DLP (Digital Light Processing) display technology. DLP projectors usually produce brighter, shaper images and their black colour performance is far superior when compared to LCD projectors. This projector uses 5 colour wheel segments and uses brilliant colour technology to reproduce a 2000:1 contrast ratio and as a result you won’t have any dead pixel or rainbow effects. Its native aspect ratio is 4:3 it still projects well at 16:9 and is able to handle full NTSC and 1080i high resolution really well.
This is a fairly low cost projector to operate as the lamp lasts 3000 hours in the eco-friendly mode where the projector operates at 1800 lumens. The filter free design of this projector also allows it to be used for very long periods before any maintance is needed.
For your peace of mind the InFocus IN2102EP comes with a 3 year warranty and the lamp comes with a 1 year warranty. This also has a pincode feature and lock slot to make sure that no one can use it without your permission.
At the back of the unit there are 2 computer inputs, sound inputs, 2 video input and 1 moniter out. It also has an USB and a rs232 connection do give you the flexbilty to use it in numerous situations with various multi media devices.
For WiFi connectivity there is an optional lite show 2 module. This allows you to securely connect the projector wirelessly to any device with a VGA out.
Verdict – This is a very robust system designed to cope well for a variety of uses. The colour reproduction is fantastic for this cheap price range. Only downside was that it is slightly bulky and weighs just under 7lbs (little over 3kg). But it more than makes up for it in other ways.

Very small and light weight. Sleek and sophisticated design. Smaller than the size of your outsteched palm. Weighs less than 2 pounds (Under 1kg’s) 150 ANSI Lumens and LED powered. This works really well with the lights turned off. But in a very light sunfilled room will struggle to project a clear picture and the image fades out a little bit.

The main weak point of any projector has to be the bulb. They usually last only a few thousand hours and are very expensive and tend to give up the ghost right in the middle of a film or presentation. But this is not the case with the Samsung P400 as they use a bright LED which is long lasting and has a bulb life of 30,000 hours. It has 2 built in speakers cutting the need to transport speaker systems around to use this projector. It has 800 by 600 resolution and has a 1000:1 Contrast ratio. And 4:3 aspect ratio. The P400 DLP also comes with a handy remote control to operate it.
This projector can be hooked up to operate with a dvd player, computer, xbox, ps3, cable box or any other gaming or multi media system. Please note that Blu Ray connectivity is out as it does not have an HDMI connection for blu ray.
This is ideal for the travelling salesman or to do presentations on the fly. If you have been on holiday or want to show that special wedding or christening video to your friends and relatives easily this would be the ideal choice due to its light weight design and flexibility of use.
Not the most powerful projector but ultra protable. This is much better than most projectors in its class and price range. The brightness of the projector will plesantly surprise you.
